If you are on a spiritual path, you may be looking for inspirational prayers to help you on your journey.

Seeking the Silver Lining?

Whenever you feel empty of ideas or experience a deep longing or a need for love, engage with Source through prayer. Pray to the God of your own understanding, be it your higher power, the creative conscious, Mother Earth or the Holy Mother herself.

Words have power and praying is a conscious way of bringing about positive change in your life.

There is no right or wrong way to pray. Just state what is in your heart. Some of the most effective prayers are gratitude prayers. Simply say thank you for all the blessings in your life.

I love the words by Matthew Anderson and often share them with my clients: "There is a prayer that lives in the center of your heart. If you pray it, it will change your life. How does it begin?"

And if you don't have the words, maybe you could learn to make your whole life a prayer:

'I don't know exactly what a prayer is.
I do know how to pay attention, how to fall down how to be idle and blessed, how to stroll through the fields,
which is what I have been doing all day.

Our Father

If you sometimes struggle to find the words, you may want to start with reading a prayer. The following prayer is a translation of “Our Father” directly from Aramaic (the language Jesus spoke) into English:

'O Cosmic Birther of all radiance and vibration!
Soften the ground of our being and carve out a space within us where your Presence can abide.
Fill us with your creativity so that we may be empowered to bear the fruit of your mission.
Let each of our actions bear fruit in accordance with our desire.
Endow us with the wisdom to produce and share what each being needs to grow and flourish.
Untie the tangled threads of destiny that bind us, as we release others from the entanglement of past mistakes.
Do not let us be seduced by that which would divert us from our true purpose, but illuminate the opportunities of the present moment.
For you are the ground and the fruitful vision, the birth, power and fulfillment, as all is gathered and made whole once again.'
