A Kiss Poem

The very first time that you kissed me,

Time stood still like the moment was endless.

A moment in history for only me,

A kiss filled with pure tenderness,

I felt like I must have been in heaven.

I’d never felt what love was like before,

Until that very first kiss was given.

The one that opened love’s door.

Love builds every dream that we dream,

And blesses us with a safe haven,

So our love can leave it’s gleam.

To shine upon every blessing we’re given.

Thank you for that very first kiss,

That began our lives together.
