If love were an iceberg
I lie chilled within its heart
yearning for the ship Titanic
to rip my cell apart

If love were an ocean
I am drowned within its deeps
drifting under tidal motion
into my every pore it seeps

If love were a lightning-bolt
it is streaking through my soul
and with each wild electric jolt
it renders me more whole
