The Reasons Why I Love You

When I thought about writing this note to you there were all kinds of things that ran through my mind. Things like you complete me, my heart jumps when you enter a room and your kindness all made the top of the list and they are all true, however that just was not enough. The love I have for you is deep and abiding and there are so many reasons why.

If I had to narrow it down to just a few reasons, why I love you number one on the list would be because you know me. Not in that superficial favorite color sort of way but in a way that is sometimes uncanny. You know what will move me! Like when you get me a gift, it is not expensive jewelry or flowers but the latest book in a series I am reading or a photo of my grandparents thought long lost but restored that touches my soul and you will move heaven and earth to touch that part of me.

I love you for knowing me and understanding even the darkest side of my personality. When I am with you, I can totally be myself and know you love me anyway. I love that I can introduce my crazy uncle and you will simply smile knowingly and hug me on the way home. I love you because of who you are and more importantly because you know who I am and love me anyway!
