The journey through love...

I bloom for you
That I might die for you
Not to create seed
But to have
These rose petals
To place at your feet
~ ~ ~

Open hand
rose and thorn
perfume and pain
blood and snow
all of life ebbs and flows
~ ~ ~

Around my neck
a drop of moon
a gift from you
that once lived
between your lips

And in my heart
a drop of you
will live forever
like rose petals
in honeyed sunshine
