Mother Son Love Rocks!

Reader Post: I'd love to share my thoughts on mother-son love.

As a mother, you'll always have a special place in your heart for your son. Although you may have strong love for your husband and daughter, there is just something about mother son love that is incomparable to anything else. You'll be right there each and every time he cries, and heaven forbid that he gets upset, even as he grows older.

People may think you are overly protective of your son, but that is not the case. The mother son love bond that you share is most likely unlike anything you've ever experienced. You'll never believe that you can have such a deep love for another human being until you give birth to a little boy. Even while a woman is pregnant, she feels an intense love for her baby, be it girl or boy. Although if it is a boy she is carrying, there is just that added warmth that makes everything that much more special.

Mother son love, at times, make you feel a little helpless, especially when you have to send your boy off to school for the first time. You'll worry about whether or not the other kids will pick on him, and if he'll stand up for himself. You'll probably cry the first time you have to be away from him. In time, he'll grow up to be a strong, intelligent gentleman. This will make you very proud.

Throughout the years, you will provide endless love and affection to him, and it may even make others jealous because your bond is so strong. Luckily, mother son love works both ways. In turn, he will be there for you just as much. Sons cannot stand it when their mothers are upset. They simply won't budge until they know what is wrong and how they can make it better. Unlike everyone else, sons can be some of the most stubborn and resistant people in mother's life. They want to fix everything and make it all better. The beauty of mother son love is that they do so already without even trying.
