Mother Love: Like Mother, like Daughter

Reader Post: My mother love story celebrates how love spans generations. In our family it is really a case of 'like mother, like daughter.' I find it absolutely amazing how I'm becoming more and more like my mother as the years go by.

I remember when I was a little girl, I loved my mother's beautiful hands with her big, silver rings. These days I look down at my own hands and it's my mother's hands I see - even down to the age spots that are rapidly multiplying. And then I look at my daughter's hands and see what my hands looked like twenty years ago - and of course she has a love of flashy silver rings too!

To me, mother love means as much my love for my mother as my love for my daughter. I'm so lucky to count both my mother and my daughter as my two best friends.
