Most Romantic Valentines Day Ideas

I've always tried to come up with romantic Valentines Day ideas. I guess I just love the fact that there's a day that I can honor my partner and show him how much I care with traditional Valentine's symbols: I love red hearts, teddybears, chocolates, champagne... everything that makes Valentine's day superspecial.

So it came as a real surprise to me when my honey came up with even more romantic Valentines Day ideas than me for the last two years.

Once, he swept me away to a hotelroom where a romantic feast for the eyes was awaiting me... candles everywhere, rose petals on the bed, a bottle of bubbly and fingerfoods all ready for us to enjoy. It was one of the most wonderful nights of my life.

Last year, he invited me to go sailing with him on Valentines day. We spent a relaxing day on the boat just enjoying each other's company. Once again, he surprised me with a romantic picnic lunch and.... an engagement ring.

I love that he proposed on Valentine's Day because it will always be a special day for us now. And I just can't wait to see what this Valentines Day will bring!
