Love Poetry: valentines poem for cody

'I know now why they say
fate feels a different way
I love to hate and hate to love
My soul suspended from above
The sky beneath the fleeting thunder
Those inept stars we’ve worshiped under
Days pass into sleepless wonder
Bodies trying to fight the hunger
The need, the urge to feel your touch
Scared to be in love this much
So will you be my valentine?
Make my heart and soul align?
Let me be the only one
You dance with me in the morning sun
Shine your light and all the while
“You’re beautiful” and make me smile
Thank you for showing me
The best things I forgot i could be
As long as we can breathe and eyes can see
So long lives this and this gives life to thee.'
