Love Poetry: True to Our Hearts

'The night burns through the sky
and the light has ceased to an end.
When the light is gone, and the darkness overcomes,
who will be there to show us the way?
The light will fade from certain eyes
and coldness will overcome others' hearts.
We will be left with nothing to hold,
but the one who will stand by,
the one who will hold your hand when all else fails,
is the one whose light will burn from the inside-out.
Their hearts will not go cold,
their light will never die out.
For it is true love that will test us
and brighten our day.
Love will show us who is true to our hearts.'
