Love Poetry: THE VOYAGE OF MARRIAGE
by Mariecor
(Coronado, California, USA)
'I see Eternity with you when I look at a Washington evergreen;
I imagine us exploring the Bay State together whene’er I’m serene.
Let’s sojourn, you and I, on a paradise isle, like Kauai or Oahu;
Yes, let us ride off together into Arizona’s Wild West sunsets, too.
Thank you for taking me to Kentucky when I asked how to paint the hills blue;
I’m glad I flew us to Disney World when you wanted to recapture your youth.
You prize all the museums I treated you to in Virginia and DC;
I’m touched that you actualized all of my Texas and Colorado fancies.
It’s wonderful that we have shared both Mormon Utah and steamy Las Vegas;
Thank goodness we’ve at long last united as wedded Alpha and Omega.
Coronado in California inspires me to make OurMarriage Golden;
Trav’ling OurBrave&FreeCountry with you, MySpouse, leads us to be emboldened!'
