Love Poetry: The Reality

'The Reality

As I drift off into the depths of sleep
My conscience is awakened.
Feelings of passion for you
flood my whole being...
like a river…
overflowing
onto it's banks.
You are right here beside me
breathing.
We embrace
I hear your heart beating...
Your chest is against mine
Our thighs intertwine...
Your lips are on my neck...
traveling gently all over my form making me groan with pleasure.
My heart races wildly like a horse galloping in the wind
My pulse increases rapidly...
My temperature rises steadily
As I admire your body
Your hands and fingers move tenderly...
causing a tingling under my skin.
My hands do the same causing you to close your eyes and whisper...
Your mouth moves toward my ear
I feel like I will go crazy with excitement.
Your tenderness changes to an earnestness... and we are one, nothing matters...
For a few moments I am transported to another world....
A trance like state of helplessness... satisfaction....joy...ecstasy.
You whisper in my ear about how I made you feel...
We embrace and lay in the stillness of the night.
But then I awake to reality.
I am alone. The dream was sweet and had been a reality not too long ago..
How I long for it still to be so....
