Love Poetry: Tears That Are Shed

'Have you ever truly understood God's plan?
Because I have not.
I have questioned my faith, I have questioned His plan.
I have questioned my love for Him, and I have questioned Him.
But those questions have only led me to where I am today.
Because of His unfailing love for me I no longer doubt my faith,
I no longer doubt my Lord.
He has led me down paths that have brought me to my knees.
He has tested me, and I have failed, but it was within those tests that I learned to love Him even more.
It was within falling that I learned to fly.
My Lord has not put anything upon my shoulder's that I could not handle.
He has only made me stronger, and for that I am thankful.
I do not always understand His methods, but I have learned to trust in Him.
I have suffered, without Him by my side, or so I thought.
But He has always been by my side,
watching over me, taking part in my pain.
And it is within my suffering that I grow closer to Him.
It is within suffering that we share in His pain, in His Cross.
The tears that I have shed; for loss, for pain, and for joy,
He has blessed them.
As long as I endure my Cross with humility, with love, with Him,
He will bless those tears that are shed.
And in turn He will shed tears, the tears that will wipe away our fears,
our pain, and our sorrow.
He will shed tears that will pierce our hearts with a love unfathomable.
With a love that is eternal.'
