Love Poetry: Perfect Couple

'He is tender and sweet
Who no one could ever beat
She is fragile and rare
To love she wouldn’t dare
He never knew she wanted him
The sight of her feelings was dim
She wanted him but couldn’t ask
For her to do so was quite a task
He had a feeling she did
So he made a dangerous bid
Her heart jumped at every glance
She watched him at every chance
He decided to strike up a conversation
And to say “Hi” at every occasion
She realized he was the one
And her waiting was finally done
He finally asked her out
In his mind there was no doubt
She realized yes was the right thing
She’d be his queen and he’d be her king
Together they are one
And their loneliness is done'
