Love Poetry: OUR GARDEN OF DREAMS - 28 April 2011
by Rosemary Moore
(Cape Town, South Africa)
'Lie down with me in
our tranquil garden
of dreams, the fragrant
scent of jasmine fills
the air, caressed by
the soft glow of moonlight
upon the abundance of beauty
which we see.
I can feel your heartbeat
upon these velvet leaves,
the feeling of pure love
flowing through you and me,
deeply relaxing, like the
rustling of the bamboo trees.
Softly, sweetly, you touch
my cheek, we're lying here
together, moulded into one,
with no words, no need to speak.
We gaze in wonder at the
Heavens of shining diamonds,
under the indigo sky,
sighing softly, with tears
of pearls happily falling
from our eyes.
The soothing waterfall
trickles nearby, a gentle
healing reminder of everlasting
time, i'll always be yours,
you'll always be mine,
i'll share everything
with you, my life, my love.'
