Love Poetry: Odds and Evens

'Odds and Evens
We are love and hate, ying and yang, black and white, we are odds and evens.
As different as all of these are, they all have one thing in common; they are associated with each other.
As are we!
They belong together.
As do we!
You cannot have one without the other.
The same could be said for you and I!
You without me equals nothingness. We are one, we are the same, human above all else, an organism on this planet put here for reasons we cannot fathom until those reasons come into play in our everyday lives.
We met years ago, it happened to me before you both then and the second time we met. We are in each other lives for a reason, one we don’t know yet, one we may be afraid to admit. I admit I hope the reason is that you are my odd or maybe my even, my white or my black, my ying to my yang. My love to my hate. You are the one that helps me create these words, these feelings, these thoughts, these works, these Odds and Evens.'
