Love Poetry: Moments to Remember
by Marquis Claude Cadotte
(North Bay Ontario)
'My hear pounds each and every day
For you and only for you
You are the rose along many who seem the most prettiest
Even though your thorns cut me ill hold you
Even when you refuse to blossom I’ll smell you
Even when you hate me
Ill love you
Even when you neglect me ill accept you
Cause you’re my sunset and my sunrise
Just the moment with you is one worth panting
One worth remembering
You took my heart from me when I wanted it
You made me smile when I was hiding it
You made me laugh when I was holding it
For the tears that crash around me
You dry them with your words
For the sweet scent of you hair
Makes me not help but stair
Into your eyes
For these days are gone by
For day I lay alone
I just wanted you to come home.'
