Love Poetry: Memory

'Why have you come into my mind
though you are not here?
Each & every time it rains here
Its only you & your thought that enters my mind

Irrespective of where ever I am
You were that part of my world
that still shines bright in my eyes
You are that sharp ray of light
which strikes me every morning

These thoughts and memories of you and me
hit me too hard when ever it rains
But in the rainy season you know !
It often rains & I am often thinking about you.

Though its been two long years now
That we have chosen our induvidual paths
But still you enter my mind
As if for me there in your world

After that brief encounter of 15 days
I tried to contact you with a new year card
It described that I missed you
But you did not reply, meant that
You don't miss me & don't want to talk with me

I cannot say that I don't await a reply from you
Let this sweet song that you've taught me be forgotten
which ended on the note I love you & miss you

so dear memory get away from me
leave me my mind simply by slipping away
as the tear in my eye.'
