Love Poetry: love beyond death
by Marquis Claude Cadotte
(North Bay Ontario)
'Kneeled down all alone.
Heart broken into dust
Why have you broken the trust
The bond that surrounded us.
For I begged and wanted you back
You treated me like a door mat
Whip you feet and shake me around
Brought back these dark clouds
Here I am poring my heart out
Just for you to turn around.
But with faith brought you
It brought forth another
The light shine back the shadow
You belong.
For this is no longer your fait
Upon the sun she appeared
Bright big wings and a contagious smile
Took me by surprise she reached in
And help me fix what you broke
All in font of these folks
For now the grace grants my heart
A comforting place.'
