'As day gives way to night
I sometimes imagine
what it would feel like
to secretly meet you
under a miracle moon
just to see your face
feel your presence
even though you live
thriving in my fantasies

As day gives way to night
I sometimes imagine
what it would feel like
to see your silhouette
in the silvery shadows
to hear your voice
on the weeping wind
to live in your words
so near and yet so far

As day gives way to night
I sometimes imagine
what it would be like
to touch your mouth
with feathery kisses
feel your breath upon my skin
but you are mysteriously hidden
in faraway velvety visions
that of distant dreams


As day gives way to night
I can
only
imagine'
