Love Poetry: Hard to say goodbye

'Today we lost a friend,
No matter what, this isn't the end,
We try move on with our heads held high,
Even if it's hard, to simply say, goodbye.

You left us when the stars were shining,
Far away while you were still sleeping,
Now you sit on a cloud way up high in heaven,
And watch over us like an angel, 'til we meet again.

It's hard to say goodbye,
To someone you'll always love,
It's so hard to say goodbye,
When you've gone to a land way up above.

Craig, you will be missed but never forgotten,
Your name will live on, it will be forever engraved,
And although our hearts will forever be broken,
A piece of you will forever be saved.'
