Love Poetry: Harbinger of my heart

'Funky clothes, unkempt hairs
Havin’ all the time nightmares

Neanderthal, miserable, bankrupt
Everythin’ wanna me interrupt

Winds howlin’, horns honkin’
Fear me of where I was in

Stooped to death, succumbed to penalty
Tempestuous life want me its casualty

People said:
What he owe, he’ll pay
Nobody wanna me to be gay

Like cave-dwelling human
They call me uncivilized man

Hopes dashed, disappointed
Like a contract terminated

Sayin’ to myself:
Threads of your fortune’s shoes unlaced
So your music should be faced

Rest of my life, my placebo
Havin’ a confidante, ditto
To be turned in the right way
Somethin’ hadn’t happened hitherto

Before thou, balloon of my dreams deflated
Before thou, container of my resistance depleted

Thy whisper made my dormant hopes action
Thy kindness thaw my frosted emotion

Thy comin’ made my days of prosperity survive and thrive
Thy comin’ made my nights of ignorance not arrive

Thy word, a salve, topical
Thy voice, breeze, tropical

Brightened me, emitted light of thy existence
Confided me, litten flames of thy patience


Threadbare warp and weft of my dreams strengthened
Loosened knot of my enthusiasm for thou tightened

Thy steps hittin’ the parade through my heart
Thy breath makin’ the food of my survival hot

Thy stayin’ enhanced my chance
To leave my sorrows behind hence

Abreast thou, barren fields of my interests fertilized
Abreast thou, distorted wires of my peace organized

When thy cheek is adjacent to my jowl
My eager feet to reach thou begin crawl

Thy beauty vivified my faded grin
Thanks to God to put thou near me Amen'
