Love Poetry: Feathers

'Rendered speechless when beauty lay
So near that I may touch.
A heart shall beat one thousand times
For one divine rose petal crush.

Eyes of gold, like Autumn leaves
Melt my heart like butter.
Lips of rouge tempt my passion,
And make me shake and stutter.

Angel's voice of silken pleasure
Leaves me drunk like wine.
Lift me from this hazy Heaven,
And make it known that you are mine.

I love you does not mean enough
When it tumbles off my tongue.
My words don't hold a candle
To your white, blessed song.

So please hold me prisoner
Beneath these hallowed sheets.
Spread your wings sweet Angel,
And hold me as we sleep.'
