Love Poetry: Deeper but Not Diluted
by Lida-Tuy

'Are thoughts allowed to sway like mine?
Writhe and grow in such little time?
Acceptable? That all I want to do is kiss you?
Permissible? To already miss you?
Would your average girl feel this way?
Would she not know whether to go or stay?
I’ll bet on every question that I get to ask
And hide behind a silly smile of a mask
Overwhelmed with joyful feelings
That bounce from head to toe
I am again freshly born, with nowhere but up to go
The future is seems so vague, as I count the stones
Each a heavy black mess made up of human bones
They stray and stretch, marking my direction
I follow every marker and raise no loud objections
They’re glowing a way of prosperity for me
Clearing a path that I can easily see
My mind now diverges into a synthetic soul
It licks the wounds as I take a stroll
There’s just no turning back anymore.'
