Love Poetry: Dear Mama...

'My poetry is my heart's reflection
of my souls consumption, of the love you feed me!
Something special, more than a biological connection!
I'm not thick skinned,
I am just stuck beneath this soft under-layer
Crawling through life, reliant on your prayer
I am hoping for a better day
Before life destroys me, and leaves me astray
I need you there for me,
Hold my hand and walk me through the rain
Don't leave me in the storm,
Your care will keep me warm
You've always been there for me
And its clear you care for me
You've done right so perfectly
And i've done wrong so openly
And now i am asking you,
Mum, please forgive me'
