Love Poetry: Chrysalis

'I await each day to hear from you, often it feels ages.
With your quirky ways and methodical days, you do so
try my patience. Just when I near my end, a message
chimes, you’re in my mind. Email, text or some other
method, you know just when I need you. You spring to
life to make me smile, to help my heart to beat. The
thought of you drives me quite wild, your words
intoxicate, complete. If only I could drink you, embibe
your soul to mine, entwined, I would keep you close,
cocoon you with me, evermore.'
