Love Poetry: Bullets
by Holly Robinson

'Bullets
I’d take a bullet
drink your share of the poison
I’d be that body to hit the car instead of yours
I will always wait in the church to see and then find out that when you arrive we
shall sleep my love and then laugh as they weep for us to come back
we shall arrise and then flee the city in the living breathing hot summer night
I’ am so very much infatuated with you it stings when I focus on it
I cant have you but I can dream
and dreaming is all I wish
to spend my dream life with you and when I sleep for real life to be that dream
we have never met physcially but bonded emotionally intelligently gently roughly playfully
slowly I’m accepting that there will never be an us just a you and a me apart
easy for you very easy for you you have accepted and pratically welcomed this fact into your heart like a kindly relative
where as I gaurd my heart and ward this fact off like a dangerous animal
please come back
let yourself allow me to help you
talking it isnt easy putting words together and then linking words into sentences
my eternal sentence in with my heart the key is yours
set me free'
