Love Poetry: Blissful Courage
by Jennell Conners

'You've loved me since i was a child,
I can say you liked my smile.
You'll travel to see me 1000 miles,
and expect nothing from me all the while.
The love you have, I adore.
I hear myself begging for more.
I want you now forevermore,
If you leave me i will be scorned.
Tell me you love me,
Tell me you need me,
Tell me your dreams,
so i can make them reality.
You are my knight,
like you are my day.
I love you now and forever will,
just love me back to test my skill.
Our love combined is like a pill,
so destructive it could kill.
Take one dosage at a time,
fore it will make you lose your mind.
Be my king, and I'll be your queen.
You'll marry me with a ring,
trust me i know, i had a dream.
Soon enough you will see. Will you marry me?'
