Love Poetry: Because it is necessary.

'I just don't know how to get rid of him
I want to, I really do, Kind of...

But you see, I have so many memories attached to him
Attached to us, to my soul.
And if I indeed let every part of him go,
Erase him from my thoughts
that Haunt me daily.

i will lose everything.
Lose the way he meade my heart speed up and slow down
all together, at the same moment.
Is anyone humanly capable of making another do so?
If not, than he must be from another land
Another time-space.

And you see.
Its hard to explain but,
what made me love him.
was not what he did for me
Or how he made me feel when i was with him
It was one moment and one moment alone
it was when, on a Sunday afternoon
he looked into my eyes and our souls connected
intertwined, bonded forever

Like new lovers, we indulged in the possibilities
of the future

But You must see... i HAVE to release him
have to somehow find a way to undo what was done.
Unbond what was bonded.
Because the soul that i was bonded to,
Did not wish to be bonded...


Though i may wish to keep him here
Locked in my heart for all time.
He does not wish to be caged within my chest.
The selfish want has to be conquered by the unselfish love.

And so,
i shall break my bond to set him free.
No matter the pain that it causes me.'
