Love Poetry: A beautiful life...
by Faisal
(London)
'Soul speaks...but the heart screams
Breaking down, I wanna cry!
Far from death, ready to die
Holding on to every breath,
it may be the last one yet
They say life is a test
Those in pain are ones doing best
But how deep in the rabbit hole do i burrow
need to find a way to be strong for tomorrow'

In this storm i stand tough
Its hurtful strain, of a torturious brain
I scream and shout, breathe and vout
hopeful might, or full of doubt
Confusion! Light of illusion
Lost in dillusion
A soldier of my world
The slave of a demon - my very own!
Only to be thrown off- my very throne
The mornin shine, i sigh and see
The wake and bake, the smoke and cake
Personal oppression or simply depression
Regression of love, or love of heart's complextion
The lost composure, the still abruption
My own very corruption - the suttle state!
The sun so high, i'm lost in darkness
Still i rise, eyes on prize- my saviour?
Or maybe...lost in discuise!
Soul speaks...but the heart screams
Breaking down, I wanna cry!
Far from death, ready to die
Holding on to every breath,
it may be the last one yet
They say life is a test
Those in pain are ones doing best
But how deep in the rabbit hole do i burrow
need to find a way to be strong for tomarrow
The sun sets, the darkness lessens
How much more? I count my blessings
A bright light! Lust my smith and weson
How much more? I count my blessings
Smile and be, the vannilla sky i wish to see
The light! The way out, my escape route!
Welcome to my apocalypse! As my heart bleeds and drips
Tears and trips, the loaded clip, eyes closed, mind open...Pow!
Only now i see, the beautiful life God gave to me...
