Gift Ideas for Mom on Mothers Day

Reader Post: 'This year my sister and I have really put some thought into gift ideas for Mom on Mothers Day. We're both giving her a gift card as a small token of our love and appreciation (one to use at her favorite bookstore and one to enjoy at a much-loved restaurant), but these are not the main gifts.

What we really want to give our mom is time off. And not only for a day - for a whole week! We have made a whole book of coupons for all the things we could think of that Mom does in a week: cooking, vacuuming, laundry, driving everyone around to name a few - and everyone in the family has strict instructions to do the task without complaining when Mom presents one of her coupons.

I think we're in for a rough week trying to fill my mother's shoes, but we think it's one of the best gift ideas for mom on mothers day.'
