Beautiful Love Stories: Miracles are all around you!

Reader Post: The first week of high school she noticed that a boy was following her up and down the halls. At first, she was scared, but then he approached her and attempted to win her heart. It did not take too long. The years passed and at 21, they wed. They were so in love. It was only a few years later that they were told that he did not have too many years left. They were scared, naturally, and chose to live in denial. They had been together for 9 years. They had an almost storybook romance and did not want it to end. They were aware that the time was drawing near and it was only a matter of time.

He came home one day from the doctor's office and told her the news. She panicked and cried. She cried over and over again, "I don't want to be alone." That night would change their lives forever. As they clung to each other, each comforting the other, her prayers were answered in a way that she would never have imagined.

Six weeks later she found out that she would not be alone. Even after he was gone she found that he would live on. Their child was born and after a few years he had gone Home. Though difficult beyond words she knew that their child was sent to them so that she would find a reason to go on living life with his spirit beside her.

This piece of him lives on through their child. The shining eyes, the dimples in his cheeks, his nose, his mouth and glimpses of his personality every now and again.

Miracles are all around you. My miracle's father lives through him. I have a purpose in this world. I am needed here. I am not alone and love lives on.
