101 Ways to have fun: Girls Night In

I love the idea of coming up with a 101 ways to have fun... my contribution is an oldie, but a goodie: a girl's night in.

I love to get together with my girlfriends on a Friday night. We pick up a couple of pizzas and a bottle of wine and rent all our favorite tear-jerker movies. Yes, sometimes it's fun to cry. Other times we get take-away Thai food and just listen to music, chat or play boardgames ~ whatever takes our fancy.

On occasion we've has pashion parties as well. That is, a representative of an adult toy company is invited to display their latest merchandise. The demo's usually have us in fits of laughter in no time!

I think friendships are one of the most important ways to nurture a sense of fun. And without fun... well, life is serious enough as it is, don't you think?
